What is your favorite thing to do at the club?
Relax in the steam room after a great workout – makes me feel like I’m at the spa!
What is your favorite thing about the club?
The amazing staff! I recently completed the Biggest Loser competition, and I’ve never felt more supported. My weight has been a major concern for several years, and thanks to the club, I am finally headed in the right direction. Brittany has been wonderful, and I’m so grateful for Terry and the time he has spent working with me to get back in shape. Thanks to him, I’ll be much stronger when I do the Cap City Half Marathon in May! Last (but certainly not least), Maggie has made such a huge impact on my health – I’m now eating much better than I had in the past and am looking at nutrition (and life in general) in a whole new light. I’ve belonged to several gyms in the past, and no other place compares to the ADAC!
What are you eating?
Whole foods! Lots of fresh produce and nothing processed. My new motto: “If I can’t make it from scratch, I don’t eat it.”
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Homemade pierogi (like my grandma used to make).
How would you make the world a better place?
I think everyone should give back to their community in whatever way they can. Call me an idealist.
Favorite musical artist:
I’ve recently gotten really into country music (words I never thought I would have uttered 10 years ago). I’m going to go with Jason Aldean – saw him in concert in CBUS, and he was amazing!
What’s on your iPod?
A crazy eclectic mix – everything from classical to hard rock. Music for every mood!
Favorite store:
The Oilerie. After I started shopping there, I realized that every EVOO and balsamic vinegar I’ve purchased for the last 30+ years has been wrong.
Favorite sports team:
Bucks! It doesn’t matter what sport, though I do really love college football!
Favorite restaurant:
I’m always finding a great new place in Columbus, so it’s hard to say. Though if I really had to choose, I think it would be a toss-up between Third & Hollywood and the Guild House.
