Pelotonia 8.02.19 – 8.04.19
The Pelotonia bike ride supporting cancer research takes place this weekend. A portion of the event will occur in the Arena District along Long St. and Spring St. between McFerson Commons and North Bank Park.
Rider check-in and opening ceremonies are Friday afternoon, August 2. The ride begins Saturday morning from McFerson Commons. Please be aware that there will be heavy cyclist and foot traffic in the Arena District Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
Traffic Impact
The following roads will close Friday, August 2 at 9:00 a.m. and reopen Saturday, August 3 at 1:00 p.m. to accommodate the event:
- Spring St. and Long St. from Hocking St. to Marconi Blvd.
- West St. from Spring St. to Nationwide Blvd.
- John McConnell Blvd. from Spring St. to New Public Ln.
***Note: Neil Ave. (north of The Eye Center) and Nationwide Blvd. are scheduled to remain open.
For access in and out of the Arena District, we recommend using Neil Ave. to Nationwide Blvd. or entering from Front St.

Spectators are welcome and encouraged to support riders as they depart from McFerson Commons. Sunny Street Café is nearby and a great spot to grab breakfast and coffee!
