Why Can’t I Lose Weight?
The Simple Answer: You eat too much!
A report just release by Dr Frank Sacks, professor of cardiovascular disease prevention at Harvard School of Public Health and lead author of the study found that diets that reduced calories lead to weight loss. Dr Sacks found that following any of the popular diets that emphasized Carbohydrates, Protein or Fat that restricted calories were successful in causing weight loss. The bottom line when it comes to weight loss, it is not what you are eating but how much. It is the old adage, calories in vs. calories out, that plays the biggest role when comes to losing weight. This does not mean that you should not strive to eat a well balanced heart healthy diet. Eating good nutritious foods plays a critical role in maintaining our overall health and well being.
